Delays in processing Yahoo! Groups emails
We are currently experiencing delays in processing email to Yahoo! Groups. We have isolated the issue and are working to repair it, at which point email delivery should catch up.

I figured there was a server problem. thanks for getting right on it and letting us know. I have a high volume mail group and knew there was something amiss with no posts since early afternoon. Thanks again.

Quincy, IL Yahoo local groups messages are not posting to the forum as of 9:48 p.m. I noticed the problem beginning around 4:30 p.m. C.S.T. 7/24/08.

It has been almost 24 hours since I discovered my group’s posts were not showing up. New posts now seem to be getting through to the group but about half of the backlogged posts have never appeared

I applied for access to a new group (Project 25) last week and still haven’t received access from the group owner. I’ve also sent two emails with no replies. Could this problem with your system be the reason why I haven’t had any response? If not, is there anything that I can do to get access to this group?

I really don’t know what I did to get banned. I would like to know so I wont do that again. I really miss being on with this group. I am so sorry for whatever I did. Please put me back in as a member. I am hoping that this was a mistake of some sort because I really dont know of anything I did wrong. Again I am sorry, please let me be a member again. I have been trying to join your group for days now but have not gotten any response. When I go to your sign in page It always says I have not been approved by the group. How long does this usually take, or did I do something wrong?

I spent some time today with your Live Chat…. As of right now they have sent my issue on to another level…. I am sending out HTML applet mail
(An applet is a program written in the Java programming language that can be included in an HTML page, much in the same way an image is included in a page.)
out to my Yahoo Applet group from my Windows Mail.. It is not making it to the group for some reason… Plain text mail, and non HTML Jave mail is, but not my applet mail. This is what we create in this group, and I have been doing it for a long time… The problem started Sunday July 27th…
Any help getting my mail back to normal will be so appreciated.

No emails are going in or out of my group..its been two weeks now…Tech says Engineering is working on it but no estimated date when it will be fixed…this is a real bummer. I have 940 members. This kind of problems kills a group.

When I look at my group under “Messages” and “Newest” many of the latest ones are missing. I can only view the recent messages from the “Home” page. Why?
I used to be able to view all from “Messages”.

I am moderator of Plumeria Pals. Our group is 8 years old and has 130,000+ messages. I have seen a lot over the years. GREAT that you are here Jami!
Since we share flower pics I was wondering will the embed ever get any easier? I miss the old days before August ‘03 when you guys kept photos on the server. So much easier to compete with Garden Web for members when people could join via web and see photos in the emails.

It really dosen’t matter what anyone says about the problems you are experiencing because if you can’t even get a response from the group moderator so you can join what is the point in having Yahoo Groups.

Well this is listed as happening on July 24th, and I’m experiencing it now…August 11th. Nothing I post on the group itself or from my email address is being posted. The number count at the top of the page changes but the posts don’t get posted. I tried to contact the Tech department and when I varifyed my email address it keeps telling me it’s wrong. I’ve copy and pasted..written it… done everything I can and it still says that…This is the biggest complaint I have w/Yahoo…You can never get to the people you need to to help with problems…Namaste!
