Subscribe to the RSS feed for the Groups blog
If you haven’t already done so, I highly recommend that you subscribe to the RSS feed for the Groups blog to receive updated headlines when I post new content. You can do this by clicking the + My Yahoo! button or Entries RSS link in the right hand column on the Groups blog homepage.
RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication.” It’s a format that web sites and blogs can use to send updated headlines to you via services like My Yahoo!. My Yahoo! gathers the content you select from a variety of sources and displays it for you in one convenient location. Syndication means you don’t have to visit each site individually to see what’s new — you simply scan headlines or brief article summaries and click to read the full text. That’s the “really simple” part. And it’s “really simple” for publishers to make their content accessible this way too.

Is there a software upgrade on Yahoo Groups that folks should be notified about? I just sent messages as usual to my groups and there is no record of receipt on my homepage- my settings have not been changed whatsoever, archives on, email reply and send are the same, pop settings fine… I’m assuming there’s a glitch because the advertising for banners on one page takes more than 2 minutes to load- any chances in the future of eliminating java code? You don’t allow it for groups and yet it is used for remote ads. Some things to consider. Thank you for your time and for the rss feed options, that’s quite helpful when things occur beyond our control.
