New photos link not appearing on homepage
Update: 7/18 - This issue has been fully resolved. Please note that photos uploaded before we corrected the issue will not appear as “new photos”, but anything uploaded after we found resolution will. Thank you for your patience.
We are aware that the link that appears on the Groups homepage when new photos are added is not currently appearing in some Groups.
Newly added photos can still be viewed by clicking on the Photos link in the left hand navigation of the group homepage.
We are currently working to correct this and appreciate your patience.

Speaking of glitches, I had the oddest temporary photo album glitch just now. When I tried to get into the Photos section of our group I got a Microsoft error message telling me that:
“We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.
See below for search results close to your request, or try a new search.”
And it prompted me to search it’s site for our group’s photos page.
It’s resolved itself after a few moments, though, and everything seems fine now.

You say that new photos can be viewed by clicking on the Photos link on the left on the main page. Well, yes, because that’s where ALL the photos are. You make it sound like this is a solution, but to find the new photos we are now required to go through each and every album - a major task in my group, and an unacceptable answer, glib at best.
Right now I still have the New Photos link, but no new photos are being added there. I sure hope you folks can fix this soon. We need to be able to keep track of what photos are being added, obviously, so that we can check their appropriateness. There’s no other way of doing that except through the New Photos link.
For those who still have new photos in the New Photos area, but no link to them, you could have told them to go to My Groups and click on the New Photos link there, or just add /spnew to the end of their group URL.

Our link is there, but none of the photos added to the group’s photo albums in the last three days have been put into the new photos site–it is just frozen in time, apparently. This is causing a lot of trouble in our group–we use this function constantly! Please fix this soon!!!

I too have reported this recent fault and received the standard ’sorry for the inconvenience, the problem has been referred on’ reply. In my experience with Yahoo this means it will not be given sufficient priority for them to be bothered with fixing it.

I was just checking in to see if the new photos feature had been fixed…I guess not.
I know that other things seem important, but for many groups, photos are a way to connect and be a community.
We have to search thru albums to find the new photos, it is waste of time to the moderators and is inconvenient to the members.
I have reported it to custom care and for the most part , I got info on how the moderator /management area worked.
Just wondering when will the new photo feature return.

If this is the case then I apologise for my earlier post and thank the Yahoo team for fixing the problem.
Now what about the text editing fault in Photos that I previously reported and remains unresolved

first of all I would be very thankfull for being a member.
I am a frank and broad mindedperson, wish to share the sorrow of poor

This is a problem again!! As of this afternoon, October 30, there are no “new photos” links on any of my groups.
