When I go to “My Groups” from my Yahoo address and some of the groups are not listed, does it mean you are doing maintenance on them, or does it mean they have been deleted? I have worked very hard to start and manage some groups, and one particularly active group no longer appears in “My Groups” list. Please tell me what’s goin on here? Thanks.

I can now get my groups but trying to access any files is no go. The Folder Icons are missing and clicking on any file link gives athis

Cannot access files stored in the FILES area of a group. Can’t download or open them. Same problem in all my and my wife’s groups which we use for civic organizations.

I am having difficulty getting the Moderator ( Phil), to answer my e-mails.
I suppose he is much busier than what I thought—-Perhaps we need a Moderator who has more time to answer e-mails that will not make him richer by way of consultancy fees.

Report filed with Customer Care. If they don’t know which groups are still affected, they can’t pinpoint the problem server(s).

Thanks for the heads up on the maintenance. However as of this morning I am still unable to access the files in the groups I own and/or moderate. Many others are beginning to notice this also.

As of 2 hours ago, I could still not access the Files. I can see the listing in groups.yahoo.com but a download resulted in a “0 byte” file (for .pdf) or “file not found”.
The problem still is not fixed, and is not addressed on anything visible on the website.

Hello? Anyone out there? Yesterday and so far today the ability to access files in the various groups has still NOT BEEN RESOLVED.
Can we get someone to deal with this issue? Routine maintenance done on April 9th and 10th, and this problem crops up. Might that be some clue as to what caused it? I’m a member of nearly 30 active groups…all those that have files I’ve checked and access to those files is not happening. I’m getting a ‘document not found’ error.

All I can tell you is that I filed a report with Customer Care and the response I received was that they “could not replicate the problem” and suggested I check my cookies, my ISP, etc. Hello? I have 16 groups and one is visible but inaccessible by its 120 members (including the owner) and it’s MY fault? I don’t think so. Sorry for the negativity but they could have at least read the report.

By the way, it’s not just “Files” that are affected. You cannot view Messages (invalid group xxxxxxxx), Links (invalid list ID) or Database (invalid list ID). For what it’s worth, the Photos, Membership and Polls area is visible. Yahoo. ::intentional pun::

The problem is definitely not resolved. Everyone in our group in the U.S. from the Midwest to the East Coast can’t open any files within the group.
This has been going on for close to 24 hours now. Is anyone even looking at the problem?????

Jami? Hello? Is there ANYONE out there from YahooGroups who pays attention? 24 full hours now and still NOT ABLE TO ACCESS FILES.
Can we get some resolution here? At least some explanation or an indication that someone has read these comments. Does some magic number of complaints have to come in before the alarm bell goes off and you people awaken to the problem? Too bad there’s not a phone number we could call so that we could punch numbers into a menu system and get ignored that way too!
I think Yahoo is paying too much attention to other items to pay attention to the fact that files and more cannot be accessed. Let’s get this problem resolved okay?? It must be nighttime in some 3rd world country where the tech support team is……..

For the last couple of days I have put Calendar Event reminders (circle clicked) and clicked on the ‘Save’ or ‘Update’. When I click the edit button again to find if the reminder is still, I found that the click I made on the circle for ‘Send Reminder’ is gone and the other circle (’Do not send reminder’) is the one clicked. This happens every time now so it seems to always change it to ‘Do not send reminder’.
Could please check this technical problem?

I wrote to Customer Care and included all error messages and the group “path” requested - even though that’s only visible to moderators and anyone with general membership would have no idea where to find it. They told me they couldn’t duplicate the problem and I should check my ISP and/or my cookies. Should I submit a second report on the same issue? The group I reported that’s been down for two days is DCMgreatdanes.

Is Y!G EVER going to do something about the busy search server problem? I am SO tired of getting this message: “Search server is busy (code=300). Please try again later. If you continue to experience trouble, please contact our Customer Care team. We apologize for this inconvenience.” (Every time I’ve contacted CC team, they don’t bother to answer me, so the advice to contact them is worthless! And your “apologies” are equally worthless!)

I lost buffyloveswillow and buffywantswillow from my groups list. The other 18 groups are working well. A search only finds a ‘must be member’ notice and I cannot find any listing to attempt rejoining. Any suggestions

STILL getting “[name of group] is temporarily unavailable” very frequently, and very slow downloading of other Yahoo Groups pages. Not a problem with my other browsing - so not fixed!

I still have problems with one of my groups, many areas not available (pending files, messages archive, files etc). I want to begin a new group as I want to distribute info to my group members. Can I import all the addresses (over 1000!) from the current group to the new group that I want to create ?

A number of my groups are still missing from my member listing
Any attempt to manually type in the group site address results in a “must be a member” page with no options to join said group(s)
Messages & digests are also no longer received from the affected groups

I subscribe to a large number of groups, most of which are missing on the group page. I sent in a request to inquire why and I was told it was my browser or ISP. Come on, if the issue is on the blog for a week and I enter a request for the same problem, I should get a better response than that! Oh, by the way, it ain’t fixed yet!!!

1. I can not believe all the spam on this board. Do you need a volunteer moderator?
2. Inability to put message on Invites. That is very frustrating and very limiting. Can not you bypass that for some of the older groups? Surely you can program it so the older established responsible groups are not punished for the actions of a few newly formed groups?

In several of the groups that I moderate, the messages are missing and no new messages are coming through. It says “no new activity” in the past 7 days but I know there was (those messages are still in my inbox!)

I just discovered spf freecycle, and I do not know how to respond to someone, who has posted something that they wold like to find a home for. Could you please tell me how to do this? I saw some furniture, and I tried to respond-zip…it was pictures of bedroom furniture, which I desperately need a bed, I have been sleeping on a twin hospital bed, that doesn’t work, for a few years now. Could someone tell me how to respond to the ad????? Thanks much

most of the freecycle groups are set up to repsond to each poster.. so you simply reply to the email you rec’d.. if your reading from the web.. you view the message and then reply to that message

When I join with Babes_in_blue_ yahoo group I have been told I am not a
