Yahoo! Groups Scheduled Site Maintenance on 4-09-08
Tomorrow, April 9, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM PT, we will once again be conducting scheduled maintenance on the Groups site. During this time, some groups will become unavailable for up to 30 minutes. Mail to some groups may also be delayed for up to 60 minutes.

I thought that the pictures on the profiles were going to be deleted on 4/9…not on 4/8 by 9:30 PM EDT. When will we be able to add a new profile picture?

If you are conducting group maintenance then would you please make sure that your system works properly. I have tried to stop emails clogging my system to no avail by using the proper “buttons” in the setup. Doesnt seem to work for me!!!

This makes no sense to me at all — scheduled maint. and it only effects SOME groups? Additionally, it’s 5:30 in the east, US and my group is still down. Your supposed new equipment needs maint already? That isn’t a good sign…

You said the Edit Photo Feature in our adult profiles will be enabled/fixed today (April 9th). As of 10:00 PM Eastern time, it has not.

Someone told me that they invited me to a closed group. That was several hours ago, and I have yet to receive an invite in my Yahoo! mail box… has there been a problem with invites? I am new to Yahoo! groups and I’m unsure of how everything works. Any suggestions?

2 of my yahoo groups don’t show up in my “my groups” section. I have to do a search to get into them. It has been a whole day that it has been doing this help please!!!

I’m posting this on ALL the yahoo blogs. I’m wondering if someone could please address the current issues going on with yahoo. I’ve read more complaints about the slowness or error’s or timing out of almost EVERY yahoo item. Searching the web in yahoo takes forever, or times out. Email, you either can’t get in it, or open anything, or not receiving mail for days. Yahoo messenger lagging out users or not letting them sign in, or tells them to try later. Yahoo groups not sending/receiving mail or invites, etc. Members Directory not working or working intermittently. Can’t search for news or local weather in your area because server is busy or down.
Every aspect of yahoo seems to have quit or is so lagged out it won’t function properly. It would be nice of Someone, ANYONE for that matter would just make a statement, so we can all spread the word as to what’s going on.

Ok I use my gmail addy for my yahoo groups and was in the middle of sending messages, got a message that my gmail addy had been disabled because I was on auto response, Never moved a things. Now all my groups are gone including the ones I own…
Can some one PLEASE tell me what the heck is going on. This happened before when the big M was going on.
I would appreciate getting back to my groups….

I did not receive notification of the 4/9 maintenance (sent 4/8 6:55PM PDT) until 4/11 3/16AM EDT. I don’t know if it was because of the maintenance or because I get the “daily” digest (but doesn’t the digest go out any day that there is at least one message?

Ok, I have all my groups showing up, but since the maintenance, I am not getting my yahoo groups email. I have contacted my server and they say it is a Yahoo problem, which I tend to agree with, since it happened at the same time as your maintenance. Would appreciate any help you could give me. It’s pretty frustrating.
